The way drivers listen to music has changed rapidly over the past few years. It’s not as simple as just turning on the radio anymore. There are countless ways to enjoy audio entertainment, and the CR-V went out of its way to let you choose how to listen.
Display Audio Touchscreen: Take control of your music with this innovative touchscreen that allows you to touch, pinch, or swipe your way through your music library, podcasts, and other audio sources. You can even customize the buttons to your favorite configuration for easy navigation. The 7-inch display comes standard on the EX, EX-L, and Touring models.
Mobile Streaming: With Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, you can access your music library, send or receive text messages, or get directions through the Display Audio touchscreen.
USB Connectivity: Tap into the music with your USB-compatible players and devices with the front USB port standard on the LX. Let your passengers charge their phones or DJ with rear USB ports standard on the EX, EX-L, and Touring trim options.
Every driver could use a co-pilot to help take the wheel or alert them of dangers on the road. Honda engineering has included several active safety systems that work just like your very own co-pilot.
Lane Keeping Assist System: Sensors detect where the center of the lane is, and if your CR-V starts to move into another lane without signaling, the system will automatically adjust the steering and throttle to bring you back to the center of the lane.
Adaptive Cruise Control: The vehicle will automatically apply the brakes or adjust acceleration to maintain the desired speed and, with low-speed follow, will lower the set speed when a vehicle traveling slower is detected in front of you.
Collision Mitigation Braking System: Much like adaptive cruise control, this system will apply the brakes when a vehicle is detected in front of you, helping you to avoid an imminent collision. Available on the EX and above as part of the Honda Sensing feature suite.
Road Departure Mitigation System: A small camera recognizes road markers, and when your vehicle is detected leaving the roadway suddenly, a warning will be emitted. If the driver does not respond, brakes will be applied and steering will be engaged to return the CR-V to a safe path. Available on the EX model and above as part of Honda Sensing.
Multi-Angle Rearview Camera: Get a view behind your vehicle, your blind spots, and even from the top-down with guidelines to help you easily navigate a crowded parking lot or back out of a driveway into a busy road. Standard on all models, this system comes with dynamic guidelines on the EX trim and above.
The Honda CR-V has so many tech features packed into it, we couldn’t fit them all in just a couple of categories. All CR-V models come standard with a remote entry system, making unlocking or locking your SUV a snap with the touch of a button. The Touring trim comes equipped with rain-sensing wipers that spring into action when moisture is detected on the windshield. You can even get on the go faster with push-button start on the EX models and above. Plus, the all-new, all-digital instrument panel keeps you informed with bright readouts and even includes a driver attention monitor that detects when the driver is drowsy and may lose focus. You can see more of what this SUV can do in the CR-V Technology video series.
