Honda Civic Tips & Tricks

Montana car shoppers are finding out that the Montana Honda Dealers Association is their number one resource for all things Honda, providing service and vehicle information well beyond the sale. Watch our resident brand evangelist, HondaPro Jason, as he takes you through some of the features on board the 2019 Honda Civic Sedan. Check out these Honda Tips and Tricks videos about the automatic windows, Display Audio touchscreen customization, emergency trunk access, tachometer settings, and more.

Customizable Display Screen

Customizing the home page of your Display Audio touchscreen is similar to arranging apps on your smartphone. Simply press and hold down (drag and drop) the desired feature with your finger, positioning the icon wherever you’d like.

Display Audio Skin

Switch the skin of your Display Audio home screen within the settings menu to change the look of your background and layout of the icons.

Activate Auto Windows

The Civic’s key fob does so much more than just lock and unlock your doors. On those hot summer days, simply press the unlock button once and then hold it down a second time, and all of the windows will automatically open.

Emergency Trunk Access

Would if your Civic has a dead car battery and your jumper cables are stored in the trunk? Easy! Just separate the physical key from the key fob and insert it into the hidden lock located in the backseat beneath the baby seat anchor on the driver’s side.

Tachometer Settings

Sometimes the tachometer within your instrument panel can be distracting. Use the system settings on your Civic’s Display Audio touchscreen to remove the tachometer, which in turn, will slightly increase the size of your speedometer.
